Meet RSS at the 13th Meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands (COP13) which will be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from 21 to 29 October 2018. RSS will present latest wetland monitoring approaches from DeMo-Wetlands during the side event "EO A GAME CHANGER FOR RAMSAR CONTRACTING PARTIES" on Oct. 26, 2018. Together with co-authors from Rwandan authorities and from the University of Bonn, RSS will present “New approaches for national wetland monitoring in Rwanda”.
In addition, RSS was invited by the Scientific and Technical Review Panel of Ramsar to give a presentation on “A national approach for mapping tropical peatlands - best practice from Indonesia”.
We will also be present at the SWOS (Satellite-based Wetland Observation Service) booth.
